About

Born and raised in Germany, I relocated to the US in 1984. I’m a former US paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, now working with high-end UNIX systems. I consider myself an advanced amateur digital photographer with inspirations to do this for a living someday.

My gear consists of a Nikon D300 & D200, multiple Nikon and third party lenses, Nikon SB800 Speedlight and Feisol Carbon Fibre tripod with a Gitzo head. My photographic interests include, but are not limited to, aviation photography, HDR, wildlife and night photography.

My other passion includes motorcycling which usually is just an excuse to find locations which will present more photographic opportunities. I currently ride a 2005 BMW K1200LT.
